With the NCAA expected to wipe out Memphis's stellar 2008 season (38 Wins/Final Four) today, we are going to hear a lot of criticism over the next few days. However, we want to be fair to Memphis and Coach Cal and point out those that are calling out the NCAA in this case. What about the fiasco at Duke in 1999 involving another Final Four team? Interesting debate by Gregg Doyel over at CBS.It should be noted, we don't really need anymore reasons to hate Duke. But, these are the facts, nonetheless.
I hope we hear more comments like this moving forward. Duke gets a free pass while Calipari would get busted for buying a kid a Coke.
