We believe!

Michael here... I have to admit this... I'm shocked. Maybe I've been drunk on UK basketball the past few days, but after three tough losses in a row, I thought UK's football season was over except for maybe a couple of non-conference gimmes. When Lindley and Hartline were injured, it only pushed me more in that way of thinking. But after tonight, I believe again. I believe in Coach Brooks, Joker Phillips and the boys in Blue and White. On, on U of K, baby.

With a final score of 21-14, Kentucky has upset the Auburn Tigers on their home field. This is the first time Kentucky has beaten Auburn at their place since 1961. Don't forget, Auburn was ranked 17th or so just a couple of weeks ago, and they have one of the best offenses in the country. With this victory, Kentucky moves to 3 wins on the season. With two games they are heavily favored to win still remaining on the schedule, that means (in theory) Kentucky only has to win one game against either Georgia, Vandy, Tennessee or Mississippi State to be bowl eligible for the fourth season in a row. Yes, this win is huge.

Kudos to Rich Brooks and company for reminding Big Blue Nation that football season isn't over yet, and we can wait a little while longer before we give all our focus to the basketball team.

Yes, I believe... again.
