Pictured to the left is myself with Kentucky Coach Joe B. Hall at a Democratic Rally in Columbus, Kentucky. I think Coach Hall amongst other such as Kenny Walker, Tony Delk, and Scott Padgett and many other former players re-uniting the "Kentucky Family" was a major boon to Coach Cal's entrance into the Kentucky Family himself.
From the first day he was hired as the head Coach of the Kentucky Wildcats he realized that to make the quickest turnaround possible the first domino that would have to fall is the re-uniting of the Kentucky Family. After that domino fell you know what has happened since, enter one of the greatest recruiting classes ever, a re-energized fanbase and it once again feels like the mid 90's and all of the other glory years of old.
So tonight the family gathers as one to face Morehead State, a team that returns four starters and a team that played Louisville tough in the first round of the NCAA Tourney just last year. They won't be scared of the Cats. However, I still think the Cats win by 20 after Morehead keeps it to within 7 to 10 at the half.
It feels good to be back in the discussion of who the big dogs are in college basketball and it feels good to have a forum where I can post my thoughts and feelings about Kentucky Basketball. I would like to thank Michael Lee and the Staff at BBNR for giving me a chance to talk about the Cats. I never take myself seriously, so I would suggest you take my posts the same.
Welcome ToonDog! Glad to see you posting. I can remember reading some of your stuff back in high school.
