He also went on to say that Hood & Harris will back up the "wings" and that Harrellson and Orton will back up the "bigs".
I believe the most interesting thing about this is that Liggins and Stevenson are no where to be found in the top 9 rotation. When I made my observations about the blue and white game last week it appeared to me that they were the two that seemed to be struggling the most with Cal's offense. Time will tell whether they get it together in time to contribute before the actual season starts, but for now it seems they'll be at the end of the bench. I kind of think that Stevenson could be a redshirt candidate. I have no facts to back that up other than just a hunch.
It's also interesting to see Darius at the 2. This is a bit surprising as most people considered him to be in line at either the 1 or 3 positions. I cannot wait to see how this all shakes out tonight even though it will be a bit disappointing that Wall won't be in the line up.
Stay tuned to Big Blue Nation Report tonight as we will have a couple of staff members at the game, including one on press row.
Some interesting line ups tonight. The rotation will get tighter as the season goes along I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteHow great is it to have a Coach that has website talking about what we can expectfor tonights game? Cal gets the fanaticism of our fan base and instead if shying away he has embraced it
