Last night at UNC's Dean Dome, there were only 14,000 people in attendance for a regular season game... which means about 7,000 seats were empty. Meanwhile, Kentucky had over 14,000 fans in attendance for their Blue-White Scrimmage game two weeks ago, and their season opener against Morehead State is sold out. It just goes to show you, Kentucky fans are the best, bar none. We'll come out in droves for anything for our Cats. Tar Heel fans? Not so much.
MORE LATER...
I would be embarrassed if I was UNC. Horrible
ReplyDelete14,000 for the regular season home opener? Really North Carolina? Really?
ReplyDeleteThis is the difference between our programs. We reward great performance and their fans show up when they know they have a great chance at a title. They are front runners. There are down sides to our passionate fan base, but when it is good it is better than anybody else. And it is about to be really good.
