It wasn't all that pretty for much of the game, but Kentucky used a big second half run to finally put away the scrappy Austin Peay team, 90-69.
Patrick Patterson had his usual workman like game, scoring 21 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. DeMarcus Cousins scored 19 and pulled down 8 boards, as well. John Wall scored 17 point and had 6 assists. DeAndre Liggins did play 12 minutes and scored 2 points, so it seems he's in fact out of the doghouse for the time being.
Kentucky improves to 11-0 and is only one win away from 2,000. They'll set out to achieve that goal on Monday, when the Cats host Drexel at Rupp Arena at 6 PM. The game will be carried on ESPNU.
