Disappointment rules my day. Because of the team's production or performance? No. Because they players are improving and we're getting tons of national attention? No.
Disappointment because again, for the 3rd time this season, I can't seem to find my beloved Wildcats ANYWHERE on the over 400 television channels I receive. While the SEC television deal has created a huge influx of dollars to all of the programs in the Southeastern Conference, I personally don't like it.
I miss the days of watching the old fuzzy Jefferson Pilot/Lincoln Financial broadcasts... the days when I knew I could count on the fact that either the local NBC or CBS station would definitely show the game.
You can't fault the SEC for inking this huge deal, as it pays dividends far more significant than a few fans not being able to get the game... but it's a travesty for those like myself who live and breathe everything Blue that we can't see the games.
EDIT::: Oh, I did find it... on ESPN FullCourt.. pay-per-view... disgusting.
