The end of the Rich Brooks era is here, and the beginning of the Joker Phillips era has arrived. Brooks announced this morning that he is stepping down as the head football coach at the University of Kentucky and will retire.
There's no mistaking what Mr. Brooks did for Kentucky football and he'll be missed at Commonwealth this fall. At the same time, there's excitement for Joker Phillips, as he takes over a successful program and tries to push it to the next level.
