Blast from the Past!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today, I thought we'd take a look at one of the all-time punchlines for the University of Kentucky's mens basketball team. If you can tell from the photo, it's ol' Rob(ert) Locke.

The typical big, slow white guy in the post, Locke actually turned out pretty good for the 'Cats. His senior season, Locke averaged nearly 12 pts a game, and 6.5 rbs per contest, which I will admit, is better than I would have ever imagined.

Locke went on to be drafted no. 51 overall (first selection... of the third round) in the 1988 NBA draft by the perennial powerhouse, the LA Clippers. In his rookie season, he blazed a trail, scoring a total of 22 points in 20 games, with a career high of 6 points versus the other team in LA (I hate them so much, I try not to mention them by name).

Today, Rob can be found out near his home in California owning and operating Waldo Wrights Flying Service, where he offers rides in WWII era biplanes to the public.
