After two fine performances last week, DeMarcus Cousins has been named SEC Freshman of the Week. Cousins averaged 19 points and 9.5 rebounds in road victories at Mississippi State and Vanderbilt. He also received (by far) the biggest reaction from the crowd, as boos (and occasionally water bottles) rained down from the stands everytime the kid did anything that resulted in anything more than taking a harmless sip of Gatorade. (And we're pretty sure there were more than a few that had rather him not even sit on the bench and drink gatorade either.)Congrats, Cuz. We love ya, buddy... even if no one else does.
