Shazam! Yes it's Gomer Pyle. Why you ask? Well I thought it would be neat on a slow day to take a look at UK's next foe, the Crimson Tide of Alabama before we make them feel like the other Gomer. No not the team but some notable alumni. While notable usually means important (although I think Jim Nabors is certainly important) not necessarily presidents or world famous scientist. Notable in the fact that we would recognize them and appreciate them for some other reason than saving the world and such. Here are my top three "Notable Crimson Tide Alumni":
- Winston Groom (author of Forrest Gump)
- Jimmy Wales (co-founder of Wikipedia)
- Jim Nabors (Shazam!)
