ESPN.com is reporting tonight that Michael Gilchrist, the #1 player in the 2011 class, will announce his college destination tomorrow on ESPNU, as well. Most people in the know have long thought Gilchrist would play for Coach Calipari, and his announcement to become a Cat would be a matter of when and not if. With that in mind, tomorrow could turn out to be a really (really, really, really) big day for our program.If you haven't listened to Cal's latest Lexy cast yet (see previous post), you should. Included in his remarks is a statement that some big announcements (plural) would be made on Wednesday that would be connected to Kentucky. Is it possible that Cal would lock up two #1 recruits on the same day in Knight (2010) and Gilchrist (2011)?
