We're still waiting on word from CJ Leslie and Terrence Jones this week as to where they'll be attending school in the fall. After Terrence Ross announced his intentions to attend the University of Washington, it might seem that Jones would follow him to the Huskies. It's long been rumored that the two kids have a desire to play together in college, and both have liked Washington for a long time. He's scheduled to make his announcement on Friday.
Meanwhile, the recruitment of CJ Leslie has been interesting. Not long ago, he was considered a lock for NC State, but since then, Kentucky has rallied. However, over the weekend, Leslie went ahead and visited UConn and apparently had a good visit. So, where he'll eventually end up out of those three schools is anyone's guess. We can probably expect an announcement later in the week as both the spring recruiting period and the school year begin to wind down.
Kentucky really needs one of these guys, so keep your fingers crossed that Cal will land one. If he does, Kentucky will have the #1 recruiting class for the second year in a row, which is pretty awesome.
Stay tuned.
