Well, Doron Lamb made it official last night and picked the Wildcats as his home of choice. It'll be awesome to see him lined up with the other big recruits and our returning players. We excitedly welcome him to the Kentucky fold.
Someone that will not be alongside those players is Josh Selby, who chose Kansas. No big shocker there though. Matter of fact, we've been saying all week that Lamb was heading to Kentucky and that Selby was going to Kansas, so when the announcements were made last night, it was nice, but not surprising at all.
As JLee reported yesterday, Patrick Patterson will announce his final decision in a few days, and the final pieces of next year's roster will begin falling into place. Everything we're hearing from people in the know is that Patrick will announce his intentions to follow his dream of playing professionally and thank the Big Blue Nation for three wonderful years. Of course, as we always say with these rumors, nothing is final until its final, so just hang tight a few more days, and then we'll know for sure whether our sources are right or not.
There's still a lot of scuttlebutt about Jones and some players in the 2011 class, but nothing is sure on those players either, so we're not going to speculate. Just enjoy your Sunday and we'll pop back in with anything you need to know.
