Where's the media now?

Everyone in Big Blue Nation had a sour Memorial Day when news broke that the NCAA had been looking into Eric Bledsoe's high school career. Questions were raised from a New York Times story that alleged that Eric's family might have received unacceptable benefits in the way of rent that may have been paid by Eric's high school Coach. This created an outcry from the faction of the national media, almost all of which are clearly anti-Calipari.

The landlord disputed the story from the beginning and now the Birmingham News is reporting that Eric's family did indeed pay the rent payments that were in question. Of course where are all of those reporters now? People like Pat Forde, Dana O'Neill and Dan Wolken, who were publicly critical of Calipari (like it would've been his fault anyway), have said nothing of this news. At least we the fans now know that this was clearly another witch hunt that amounted to nothing. Something tells me the TMZ report last week will end up with the same fate.

Sorry Pat, better luck next time.
