"Practice is underway as we prepare for our Canada trip and I'm pleased with the energy everyone brought," Calipari wrote. "I do want to let you all know that junior Darnell Dodson will not be playing for UK this season. If Darnell, who is academically eligible, decides to return, he could practice with the team if he meets our standards."
Dodson was possibly the teams best returning shooter, but something never quite clicked with him and Kentucky. That seems to be a somewhat recurring theme with JUCO players that have made there way to Lexington. Best of luck to Dodson though, hopefully he lands on his feet somewhere. Maybe we will have a little more luck this time around with incoming JUCO player Eloy Vargas.
Calipari is doing his best to make the BBNR obsolete, but we will stay strong and fight the good fight. Expect more news from Cal throughout the week, and for us to be here to talk about it.
