Caleb Hardy: The State's Most Underrated Player

Part of playing high school basketball in a school with less than 250 students, and in a Region often forgotten by the rest of the state (Kentucky does end at the lakes, right?), is the issue of being overlooked by your own home state's media. Caleb Hardy is dealing with that right now. The Carlisle County High School senior forward is most certainly the best player you've never heard of (if you live east of the lakes) and the team here at BBNR is hoping that changes this year.

Caleb is a 6'6" forward with the ability to both put the ball on the floor or post up down low. As a junior, Caleb Hardy was the Paducah Sun Purchase Player of the Year, where he averaged 24 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot per game... some pretty astounding numbers for anyone. Hardy spent this past summer playing in some of the biggest high school basketball tournaments in the country, on the AAU circuit, and is now ready to get his senior year under way.

We wish Caleb the best of luck for the upcoming season, and his college career that will follow.

  2. I blame the Caleb Hardy hype on the liberal Carlisle media
