Garbage....

Great post earlier by a fellow staffer here at BBNR about the SEC media picks, but I feel the need to fume a little. Once again the media has opened it's big mouth and made absolutely no sense! Complete garb-a-zjay! Somehow John Wall was 2nd in votes for SEC Player of the Year behind "the man" P-Pat and was voted to the 2nd team All SEC?? No disrespect to South Carolina's Devan Downey or Ole Miss guard Terico White because they are sensational players, but how in the world is a guy voted the second best player in your league overall but only at best the third at his position? You do the math.

Reminds me a lot of the Baseball Hall of Fame. How is a guy not a Hall of Famer his first three times on the ballot and suddenly what he did in the league has become good enough. You're either in or out! The players stats didn't suddenly increase or decrease since they last unlaced the cleats. I hate when baseball writers (which IMHO is a contributor people don't watch baseball) say "well he may be a HOF player but not on the first ballot." REALLY?!? Serve that up with a side of arrogance! It's just another way for washed up newspaper writers who are essentially irrelevant at this point (people don't read today what they read on the Internet yesterday) to make themselves feel important. I'm not sure who makes this media panel up but congratulations.....EPIC FAIL!
