Bledsoe doubtful...

The voice of the Wildcats, Tom Leach is reporting that Eric Bledsoe is doubtful for the Clarion State game on Friday. Coach Cal said that Bledsoe has an ankle sprain that could keep him from playing tomorrow. Let's hope he's ready to play again for the Morehead game on the 13th since John Wall will miss that game as part of his two game suspension.

We've got two of our writers on their way to Lexington for both the basketball and football games. Stay tuned for non-stop coverage of UK basketball and football all weekend long!

Much more later... stay tuned.

  1. I thought it looked like he tweaked it the other night. Hope he's ok for next weekend.

  3. We need Bledsoe, I don't care if it is Morehead. . .we'll need him without Wall.

  4. We'll be fine, Miller can run point if he has to. Krebs could also play against Morehead. It's not ideal, but we can do it.

  5. Maybe Liggins could see some action with Bledsoe injuried. Still no word on exactly why DeAndre didn't play the other night. Most think its because of poor practice, while some conspiracy theorists say it was far more than that... I guess we'll see tomorrow night.

  7. Well it's no secret that Liggins to this point is no Bledsoe but he could hopefully hold down the fort against Clarinette or whomever they claim to be. Wall is supposed to play at least the first half. If it's as minor as a tweak sounds, one would think he'd be back for this game. I certainly wish harm to no player but if something injury wise occurs I'd rather it happen now so Coach has the opportunity to work out guys in different scenarios against the easier part of the schedule. I hope there isn't anything major going on with Liggins and he'll get the opportunity to prove himself. I wouldn't mind Coach having a tougher time trying to play all his talent.
