Kentucky Wildcats Vs. Vanderbilt Commodores
TV: SEC Network/ESPN 360
Radio: UK Radio Network/UK Athletics.com
To say that this is a big game doesn't quite put it in perspective for the Big Blue. It's an absolute must win. The Cats let a winnable game against Mississippi State get away two weeks ago and they cannot afford to do that again in Music City today. With Tennessee and Georgia looming on the schedule this is the last game this season where the Wildcats will be predicted to win.
The Cats are getting some key players back today in Locke and Hartline so the offense should be moving a little better this week. Cobb is also set to play through his thumb injury. Lindley is also back which should make the Cat's pass defense stronger than it has been in recent weeks.
There should be plenty of blue scattered throughout the stadium and the weather seems absolutely perfect for kick off. A win today could be an historic landmark for the Kentucky Football program and more validity to what Brooks and co. are doing in Lexington.
28-14 UK
ReplyDeleteHuge game for the Cats. Gotta win.
ReplyDelete7-0, good quick start by the Cats.
ReplyDeleteWhat has happened to our defense?
ReplyDeleteI wish UK played Ole Miss this season so BBNR could do a play profile article on Dexter McCluster.
ReplyDeleteNot a good start for Hartline. Newton and Cobb seems to be a better combination today.
ReplyDeleteShould've had that fumble. Go from having a turnover to Vandy getting a 1st down. TOUGH!
ReplyDeleteFall on the freaking ball!
ReplyDeleteDo they not teach these guys to fall on the ball, seriously? Don't try to be a hero.
ReplyDeleteNeed to score here.
ReplyDeleteTerrible, we have let them stay in this game.
ReplyDeleteunbelievable! no way Vandy should have the lead!
ReplyDeleteWell we should of had two fumbles by falling on the ball and that is the difference of this game.
ReplyDeleteCOBB!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDefense has been big in the 2nd half
ReplyDeleteWe got to put them away on this drive. Vandy's offense is struggling but we can only give them so many chances before they get it together.
ReplyDeleteTD LOCKE!
ReplyDeleteLove riding Cobb and Locke when the game (and season) were on the line. We just need a couple other guys to make some plays and we can have a really good offense to compliment a solid defense
ReplyDelete2 possession game. That should do it!
ReplyDeleteThat'll do it!!!!
ReplyDeleteBig win for the Cats! I don't think anyone truly appreciates what Brooks has done.
