Kige's 1st game grades...

Offense-B: Too many turnovers but there was flashes of what this team could do.

Defense-A: Campbellsville couldn't hit anything against the stingy UK defense.

Coaching-A+: Calipari looked good in the debut both on T.V and Radio. On the postgame show we got details about what the coach thought needed to be fixed, unlike last year, where all we heard was "We just got whipped!"
How refreshing!

One more note: If Eric Bledsoe is our back up PG, just think how good the Cats will be this year! Bledsoe was everywhere.

  1. Kige, we love your posts, but if you scored last night's game with such high scores, we might have to add some new grades for later in the season! Like, perhaps... A+++++

  2. The grading system is relative.. I can see an argument either way. If you compare the performance to realistic expectations I see where the Kige is coming from..

From my experience professors grading can take into consideration your capabilities as a student. This team isn't as polished as we should be as we become more acclimated to the new system. You could argue for giving an A for effort I suppose, but I also see the point on how much room for improvement we have as a team.

  3. Good stuff Kige and I agree with Austin, it's relative. Right now Kige is grading the team on where they should be at for the first exhibition. He'll probably grade them much tougher come March, and rightfully so.
