Cal's Cats: Wednesday UK News

-Doron Lamb looks to be waiting until the Spring to decide; if true, who knows when the next commitment will come...

-Check out this Facebook group devoted for UK fans who want Leslie

-The two biggest things on UK fans minds right now is the likelihood that the football Cats will end up at the Music City Bowl again, and UK's huge game against UNC Saturday.

As for the basketball game, it's hard to predict who will win out, but remember that even UK is good this year, and we might be ready for the Final Four by March, we might not be right now. Some big factors will be Cousins staying out of foul trouble and our freshmen and Dodson showing composure and not making unforced, silly turnovers. The game could go either way and the only thing that would surprise me is one team dominating the contest, which wasn't the case in the recent past. I think we all expected UNC to win the past few games, but this year, we're actually favored to win a close one. Nice change.

If we do lose it isn't the end of the world though. We will still beat them to 2,000 wins and by tourney time we'll still likely be a top 3 seed, competing for a Final Four, and that is all you can ask for. Let's just enjoy Wall while he is here. He's special, and this seems to be a very special season.

Go Cats! Beat the Heels!
