UConn is "mean"... Just ask Cal

The bad blood between Calhoun and Cal has been well documented, not only here at BBNR, but by everyone that follows the game closely. That bad blood was clear once again when Cal described the upcoming game on his weekly call-in show with Tom Leach: "UConn is mean... I mean really mean. We're going to get poked in the eye."

Typical coach-speak was absent from the discussion. He never said anything like "They're extremely well coached" or any other line we typically hear before a game like this. No, all Cal wanted us to know is that the Huskies play dirty and that goggles might be in order.
