5 Cats named All-SEC...

Five Kentucky players were named to the All-Southeastern Conference team selected by members of the media for The Associated Press.

Randall Cobb, who plays wide receiver, quarterback, punt returner and kickoff returner, was chosen first team as an all-purpose player. Wildcats on the All-SEC second team were defensive tackle Corey Peters, linebacker Sam Maxwell and tailback/kickoff returner Derrick Locke as an all-purpose player. Offensive tackle Zipp Duncan received honorable-mention status.

The Cats play Clemson in the Music City Bowl on December 27 in Nashville. The game will be shown on ESPN.
