This is a Public Service Announcement

I'm just going to go ahead and report that Lebron James will not be in attendance for the UConn game in Madison Square Gardens. The Cleveland Lebron's will play the Rockets in Houston on Wednesday. You heard the non-news here first. I just wanted to throw this out there before there are any wild speculations, just like they are pretty much every game.

Just for fun, let's do a little investigating and predicting, something we always like to do on here. Let's take the rest of the UK Schedule and Lebron's Schedule and try to predict just when Lebron will make his first Rupp Arena appearance to watch the Cats. OK, after long minutes and seconds of reviewing and analyzing the two schedules, I've come to my thesis. The only possible home games Lebron can make this year are: Dec. 19 against Austin Peay (but he plays the Milwaukee Meek's the 18th in Cleveland then Dallas on the road the 20th) so we will strike that one out. Then there's Georgia on the 9th of January (Lebron plays on the road in Denver on the 8th and Portland on the 10th), so it's unlikely he would fly in and right back to the west. There is Vandy on the 30th of January (plays Indy on the 29th and flies to LA for the Clips on the 31st), and Tennessee on the 13th of February (plays Orlando at home on the 11th and doesn't play again until the 18th at home against Denver). There is also the game that ends the regular season against Florida on March 7th (plays 6th at home and in San Antonio on the 8th).

Ok, all of that rambling to finally make my prediction... Lebron James will be in attendance to watch UK embarrass the fighting Pearls on February 13th, 2010. If you dispute this prediction feel free to embarrass yourselves in the comment section provided below.

Yes this post may contain a small portion of sarcasm with a side of jerk. Thanks and continue with your regular daily activities.

  1. I'm going to go on the record and say Lebron will not attend a UK game this year unless we luck out play in the NCAA tournament close to where Lebron happens to be at the time. Even then, there's no guarantee he'll be there. I think most of this has just been fan speculation anyway. Lebron is focused on winning a championship... not visiting Cal and the Cats.
