Fancy Feline joins the team...

Since we started this little site, we've been looking for a good writing female that also happened to be a sold-out Kentucky fan. To be honest, we never really heard back from the right one. Those that did have the skills didn't have the time or desire to write for the site, and ultimately, we gave up on the idea. However, recently, the pieces to the puzzle have fallen into place, and we've finally found our "Wildcat Gal"... better known to you as "Fancy Feline." Fancy will be a regular contributor to the site, and we're very, very excited about it. Below, you'll find her welcome note to all of you...

Fancy Feline is the name and Kentucky basketball is the game. I am thrilled to offer a female perspective on The Big Blue Nation Report, and I promise to always keep you enthused and intrigued. You see, I am not your typical CATS fan. While I must admit that I LOVE the adrenaline rush you feel at Rupp Arena when the lights go down for the starting line-up, and there is nothing like seeing magic be made on the court, there are definitely some thoughts running through my head that are not exactly “normal.”

For starters, has anyone noticed how our ferocious players fill out their uniforms? Much to my enjoyment, the uniform style has changed to a…shall we say…Huh umm (clearing my throat)…form fitting jersey. Ladies, would it be accurate to say that the grueling Calipari practices are working in more than one way for our undefeated Cats? Now, I know some of you fashion-challenged fans are thinking…that has nothing to do with getting the “W.” Bite your tongue!

It has been proven in various studies that when you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you give 100%. The muscles, the sweatbands, the tattoos and matching shoes… I’m purring like a kitten!

Love you…Go Big Blue!
Fancy Feline

  2. Welcome to the site! I hope this isn't just Michael posting under the alias of a female reporter... But I wouldn't put it past him. Seriously though welcome to the site.

  3. Why in the world did we need to bring a stinkin' girl on board? If we wanted the female perspective, just ask JLee to post a little more often... lol.

    Welcome to the group!
