DeMarcus Cousins, Patrick Patterson, John Wall, and possibly Eric Bledsoe could all be leaving UK for the NBA after this season. Could one of the bigger behind the scenes names be joining the mass exodus out of Lexington as well? Scoop Jackson over at ESPN thinks so. According to Scoop, Rod Strickland should be the only choice on Depaul University's radar for their Head Coaching position after this season.Big Blue Nation loves all of our Wildcats, including the assistant coaches, managers, cheerleaders, dancers etc. and it would be tough to see "Strick" go after just one year. We will likely have to wait until the summer to see how this plays out, but it is worth keeping an eye on as this magical season in Lexington draws to an end. GO BIG BLUE!!
Interesting for sure, but we have also heard rumblings with another UK connection, one Mr. Billy Clyde Gillispie. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out up there.
