At first, I thought I must have looked at the calendar wrong this morning, because it seemed more like April Fool's Day than it did a random Tuesday in February. Why? Because while reading ESPN.com, it appeared that (at first glance) Pat Forde had actually written some nice things about John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats in his weekly ramblings (also known as Forde Minutes... more like Forty Minutes of Hell)
Then I saw the asterisks and the "since vacated" comments, and I realized that today is in fact February 23, and not April 1st, and that Pat Forde is still a jerk. He can't even mention Cal's accomplishments, or the fine job he's doing this season, without working in a couple of cheap shots. We expect nothing less from Rick Pitino's BFF.

ReplyDeleteIt really is beyond comical that Forde continues to take jabs at Cal yet has not had one bad thing to say about Pitino. I know Cal's past isn't perfect, but if you're going to "call a spade a spade" then how about doing the same for "Slick Rick"?
