You've been warned...
Gomez here...
UK just released this statement:
The University of Kentucky Athletics Department reminds all fans to exercise caution when buying tickets to athletics events from a third-party source outside of the UK Ticket Office or Ticketmaster.
At several recent basketball games, a number of fans have been denied entry after unknowingly purchasing altered tickets through third party websites. Altered tickets are not valid for admission into Rupp Arena.
Unless a ticket is purchased through the UK Ticket Office or Ticketmaster, it cannot be guaranteed to be valid and admission to the event could be denied.
So in other words buy from scaplers or eBay at your own risk. I would also throw in an extra word of caution to those considering buying tickets from former UK players. That's usually a pretty bad idea.
More later...
