Syracuse's Jim Boeheim won the Associated Press National Coach of the Year, and it wasn't even close. Our man, John Calipari received only two votes, once again showing both the media's anti-Kentucky bias as well as their overall lack of college basketball knowledge.
Here's how the voting went down...
Jim Boeheim Syracuse 39
Frank Martin Kansas State 8
Steve Alford New Mexico 4
Bill Self Kansas 3
John Calipari Kentucky 2
Fran Dunphy Temple 2
Mike Brey Notre Dame 1
Jamie Dixon Pittsburgh 1
Scott Drew Baylor 1
Mike Krzyzewski Duke 1
Rick Majerus Saint Louis 1
Matt Painter Purdue 1
Buzz Williams Marquette 1
Notice, no votes for the SEC's best coach, Kevin Stallings. Again, the AP knows nothing!
