Another One Bites the Dust...

Kyle Cain, a power forward out of New Hampton Prep in New Hampshire, was released from his letter of intent from Rhode Island and was immediately contacted by Kentucky about filling our need for another power forward. He is reportedly not interested, so that is another option for power forward that has fallen through.

Hopefully, Cal and co. can pull something together to fill the one hole in our roster for next season. If not, we will still be really good, but probably not as good as we could be if Jones or another big man signed with the Cats.

Either way, it will be another fun season under coach Cal in 2010-2011. But it doesn't hurt to always want more right?
GO BIG BLUE!!!

  1. Well considering that he would be recruited over I can see his point...

    Vargas is our man anyway...

  3. yeah he would be in the same situation hood is in now after this season is over.

I havent' really heard much about Vargas. Are we going to get him for sure or is he just our number one target at this point?

  5. I think if he has a good visit (which he will) then he'll be a cat by the end of the weekend.

  6. VERY good chance we land Vargas... he has a top 3 (reportedly) of UK, Arizona, and Seattle...

I think despite the ties he may have to the Northwestern US powerhouse aka Seattle, you can take them out of the equation.

That leaves Zona and the 'Cats.

Hes already canceled his trip to Zona for this weekend so that he could trip to... Lexington. Good, good chance he commits this weekend.
