And Cal has again left the UK faithful with high hopes next season. Terrence Jones according to Scout's Evan Daniels has signed a financial aid agreement with the Wildcats.
Let me just say...THIS IS HUGE! I had honestly given up and conceded he would be a Husky. Let's just say the Maui Invitational will be a fun event.

ReplyDeleteOur starting lineup now consists of Kanter, Jones, Miller, Knight, and ______ (Most likely Lamb... with Poole, Dodson, Liggins, HArrelson, Hood, and Vargas off the bench.
The way I see it, Jones is coming to UK to be one and done, same as Kanter. Knight is probably in the same boat, but I am holding out hope he will try to graduate in two years and win a championship. Losing Kanter and Jones to the NBA would leave UK with 5 scholarships for another #1 class next year. Hard to bet against Cal getting that spot for the third straight year, especially with the top two players already in the fold. All I can say is wow.
Never had a doubt in my mind... the writing was all over the wall when, after choosing UDub at his presser, he didn't even have the nuts to sign his LOI.

ReplyDeletealso i think with the lockout looming after this coming season, it may affect some of these guys in ways we can't even imagine. Which, if alot more of these guys stay than expected that could screw what is looking to be Cal's best recruiting class yet for 2011-2012
