In all of the Bledsoe news we failed to give props to our man, Rajon Rondo. Behind his stellar play at the point guard position, the Celtics are returning to the NBA Finals. Rondo did have a scare when he tweaked his back after a hard foul driving to the basket. Doc Rivers said this morning that Rondo "would be fine." Since the Eastern Conference Finals did not go 7 games, he'll get an extra couple of days to rest it.
Rondo has been one of the better stories of the NBA playoffs and he has become a great ambassador for the University of Kentucky. If the Lakers (who lead 3-2 in the Western Conference Finals) meet the Celtics it'll be a 2008 Finals rematch where the Celtics won the Championship.
