ESPY night, or one of the more useless nights in the wide world of sports. It's really just another way the "mother ship" can show how they are the center of the sporting world. Don't we really know who won the games? Is there a reason why someone should get best football team? Won't that be the Saints? Won't the Lakers be the best basketball team?
There is, however, individual awards too and at least we know for sure they got one right. John Wall won Best College Male Athlete. He was also up for Break-through Male Athlete as well. So while these awards don't mean much to anyone other than the few who are nominated, or those that ultimately win, it's nice to know that UK is represented nonetheless.
