Ortmayer to be replaced...

In what may be seen as a controversial move, Joker Phillips has elected to replace special teams coach Steve Ortmayer. The timing is what raises eyebrows, as most believed Ortmayer to be safe, especially after he remained on staff through several staff changes.

Joker released this statement through UK tonight...
"I appreciate the time and effort that Steve has given to Kentucky Football. I thank him for his contributions to the team and wish him the best."

Early reports are that Greg Nord from Illinois is the likely candidate to replace Ortmayer.
