As a new college basketball season dawns, all eyes are on the Bluegrass State, specifically the rivalry between Cal and Ricky P. The USA Today sports page is talking about it today, and you can read it here.

I love how Pitino tries to treat us as the little brother. I am not sure if Pitino is going to be around much longer, but if he is he will be taking a back seat to the Cats. He still has enough juice to stay very relevant, but he will be an underdog alongside the rest of of College Basketball (with VERY few exceptions) when matched up with the Cats.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure that that stat they throw around about being the highest revenue program is somehow misleading but that is another conversation. I have seen that debated and I can't speak too knowledgeably about it.
Ricky P is a "has been" now. He has to realize that... especially with the hype surrounding Kentucky since Cal came to town.
ReplyDeleteRick Pitino is a joke, he knows UL cannot hold our jock strap. I am sick of his game, he can shovel what crap he wants to the Louisville fan base, but the rest of us don't have to take it.
