As you can tell, most of us here at BBNR have been enjoying the time off with friends and family. I have tried to keep a close eye on all things Bledsoe but there just doesn't seem to be much news other than what initially came out on Friday. A few stories have trickled out about the so called investigation (at this point there is no real evidence that this is even an ongoing NCAA investigation) but nothing new seems to be breaking. There is a rumor floating around Internet circles that Bledsoe is going to sue the New York Times and whoever leaked his transcripts.
While I don't feel this story is going to go away anytime soon, I think in the end UK will be in the clear. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but all I see is a lot of "what if" scenarios being thrown around and not a lot of FACTS. If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts then every school would be in trouble for something. We'll stay on top of it, but again, there just isn't much else to report yet.
Finally (and most importantly today), thank you to all the men and women who serve our country and let's remember those who have given their lives to protect our freedom. Have a happy and safe Memorial Day.
