A Little More on the Jones Saga...

JBRU was on top of things last night, and Gomez is out and about early this morning too. The big topic today is, of course, Jones giving a fairly solid commitment to UK by signing a financial aid agreement.

Just to clarify, a financial aid agreement binds the school to the player, but does not legally bind the player to the school as a Letter of Intent would have. However, Big Blue Nation should not be concerned because in this article from Andy Katz at ESPN.com, Katz says that both Romar and Cal have told him they firmly expect UK to be where Jones ends up. So, when even the opposing coach is giving up hope, the deal is most likely done.

Stay tuned as we will try to keep you updated on the ins and outs of the situation today. This will likely cement UK as the nation's top recruiting class... again. Man, it's good to be back.

GO BIG BLUE!!!

  1. This is amazing, Cal has done it again and the way next year's class is shaping up, it could be a three-peat as the top recruiting class. To the victors, go the spoils... I hope

  2. T. Jones was the missing link. I really feel like next year's team could eclipse John Wall and Co. Cannot wait!
